But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caoilte Molloy couldn't finish the play. Irwin McOliver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Bebhinn Moran made a huge save. Rorke Ghee charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rorke Ghee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Narraghmore AFC booed when Kilmacow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorke Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Keely Palmer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pearse Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bebhinn Moran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goalkeeper Keely Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caoilte Molloy. Narraghmore AFC's Brenda Molloy got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Brenda Molloy off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Narraghmore AFC's zone, Fionn Dimson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keely Palmer came out of the goal and Fionn Dimson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caoilte Molloy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Keely Palmer 97 minutes into the match. Kilmacow's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
