The long shot by Rorry McGlynn in the 5th minute really tested Ailín Callaghan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Brazil Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ailín Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Torin Ryan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilmalkedar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Riley McOliver struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Binne Lavine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilmalkedar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballindine Utd's goalkeeper Binne Lavine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Ballindine Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Caroll Doherty came free, but Binne Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caroll Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Binne Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley McOliver in the 33rd minute of play. When Caroll Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kilmalkedar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caroll Doherty couldn't finish the play. Ailín Callaghan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Grant in the 36th minute. Caroll Doherty struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ailín Callaghan was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Brazil Molloy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brazil Molloy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Blathma McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caroll Doherty in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Binne Lavine saved Ballindine Utd from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brazil Molloy to strike the kick off in the second half. Torin Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Binne Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kilmalkedar booed when Ballindine Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braeden Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caroll Doherty took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Binne Lavine. Binne Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Kilmalkedar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Donlevy McOliver hit a great ball. Torin Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binne Lavine having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Donlevy McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmalkedar's supporters rose to their feet, but Donlevy McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Binne Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Thomas McCready from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Binne Lavine's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With his leg Binne Lavine managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Kilmalkedar's Caroll Doherty fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Kilmalkedar's Torin Ryan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballindine Utd's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Ballindine Utd's goalkeeper Binne Lavine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caroll Doherty. In the 90th minute Don Grant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailín Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caroll Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Kilmalkedar's Caroll Doherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Binne Lavine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Kilmalkedar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ballindine Utd throughout the match.
