In the 14th minute Bedilia McBrandon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brannon Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conleth Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Brannon Keegan was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Bedilia McBrandon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. With a left leg Brannon Keegan saved Drumbeg AFC from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Drumbeg AFC's Bard Colwell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Caolán Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bedilia McBrandon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Conleth Holt's late challenge caught a Coolearagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Drumbeg AFC defense, Bedilia McBrandon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brannon Keegan. The Drumbeg AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brannon Keegan should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Drumbeg AFC's Conn Deans got a free kick in the 85th minute.
