Crossna's Gaynor Bayes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Crossna from getting a goal against them. If Caroll Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaynor Bayes stood somewhat misplaced when Torin Ryan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Ailín Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braden Palmer in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Conn Martyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ailín Callaghan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Kilmalkedar's goal looked a bit too open when Braden Palmer came free, but Ailín Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Braden Palmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ailín Callaghan was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Riddoc Dalton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crossna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilmalkedar the free kick. After 25 played minutes Crossna got a freekick which was hit by Riddoc Dalton. In the 28th minute, Conn Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ailín Callaghan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Caroll Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Caroll Doherty fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaynor Bayes, passed just outside the right post. Braden Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braden Palmer in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailín Callaghan saved Kilmalkedar from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Torin Ryan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crossna's Gaynor Bayes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ailín Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braden Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Braden Palmer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kilmalkedar's Ailín Callaghan. Ailín Callaghan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torin Ryan to make the kick off. Gaynor Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torin Ryan in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartel McPeter got free with Ailín Callaghan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ailín Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braden Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torin Ryan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaynor Bayes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Conn Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Crossna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryland Frankson to maneuver through the defense. Conn Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ailín Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Caroll Doherty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilmalkedar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Conn Martyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ailín Callaghan made a huge save. A collision led to Kilmalkedar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Caroll Doherty hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
