Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caoilte Molloy started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brannagh McOliver during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Botinny's Brannagh McOliver got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 12 played minutes Kilmacow got a freekick which was hit by Caoilte Molloy. Caoilte Molloy took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex McGlenn. Alex McGlenn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alex McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caoilte Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Reilley Beckett's late challenge caught a Kilmacow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reilley Beckett helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Botinny getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Reilley Beckett hit a great ball. The supporters of Botinny booed when Kilmacow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorke Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Botinny's zone, Caoilte Molloy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex McGlenn came out of the goal and Caoilte Molloy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fionn Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bradley Hughes made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Kilmacow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrey Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. Fionn Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Kilmacow got a freekick which was hit by Caoilte Molloy. Alex McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fionn Dimson in the 64th minute of play. Caoilte Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alex McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caoilte Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Caoilte Molloy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacow's supporters rose to their feet, but Caoilte Molloy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex McGlenn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex McGlenn was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Fionn Dimson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fionn Dimson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Bebhinn Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Hughes in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kilmacow's Rorke Ghee got a free kick in the 80th minute. When the match was over Kilmacow could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Botinny throughout the match.
