Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Keely Palmer came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by St Tiknock's Kalev Raudsoo. But to his dismay, Kalev Raudsoo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Narraghmore AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenan McTom to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, St Tiknock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boylan Doyle to maneuver through the defense. St Tiknock's Bodibeua Johnson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Kalev Raudsoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bodibeua Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irwin McOliver's late challenge caught a St Tiknock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irwin McOliver helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Narraghmore AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Irwin McOliver hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, St Tiknock's Bodibeua Johnson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keely Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Bodibeua Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Tiknock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bodibeua Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breas Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bodibeua Johnson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Keely Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St Tiknock. If Bat Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kalev Raudsoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keely Palmer having to interfere. After 43 played minutes St Tiknock got a freekick which was hit by Ron McJon. After a defensive mix-up in Narraghmore AFC's zone, Bat Deans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keely Palmer came out of the goal and Bat Deans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of St Tiknock booed when Narraghmore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenan McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bodibeua Johnson to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as St Tiknock's Bodibeua Johnson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keely Palmer. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the game, Phillip Murphy threw the ball into play from the sideline. St Tiknock's Bat Deans quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Keely Palmer managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when St Tiknock's Boylan Doyle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bodibeua Johnson in the 60th minute of play forced Narraghmore AFC's goalkeeper Keely Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narraghmore AFC's Brenan McTom got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. St Tiknock's Gearóid McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Moran in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Narraghmore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brenda Molloy. If Bat Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalev Raudsoo came free, but Keely Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, St Tiknock's Bodibeua Johnson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keely Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kalev Raudsoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Keely Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, St Tiknock's Bodibeua Johnson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keely Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kalev Raudsoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bat Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
