Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caroll Doherty took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ailín Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph McPeter in the 3rd minute of play. The tension between the Kilmalkedar and the Mardyke players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kilmalkedar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Riley McOliver hit a great ball. Ailín Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyton Dalton in the 9th minute of play. Ailín Callaghan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradner Frankson's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Ailín Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradner Frankson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Riley McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riley McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Kilmalkedar's Ailín Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradner Frankson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Bradner Frankson made a precise shot to the right of Ailín Callaghan. Kilmalkedar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teagan McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ailín Callaghan came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mardyke's Bradner Frankson. But to his dismay, Bradner Frankson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute Braddon Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailín Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Kilmalkedar's Caroll Doherty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Kilmalkedar's goal looked a bit too open when Braddon Doherty came free, but Ailín Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of Kilmalkedar booed when Mardyke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Caroll Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilmalkedar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caroll Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Phelan Glen Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kilmalkedar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phelan Glen Crowe couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mardyke's Braddon Doherty slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ailín Callaghan. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Riley McOliver suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Joseph McDonald's late challenge caught a Kilmalkedar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph McDonald helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mardyke's Joseph McDonald got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 79 played minutes Mardyke got a freekick which was hit by Peyton Dalton. In the 79th minute, Peyton Dalton fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Ailín Callaghan. In the 80th match minute, Mardyke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph McPeter to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Joseph McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Braddon Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailín Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phelan Glen Crowe struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Bebhinn Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilmalkedar. Phelan Glen Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebhinn Holt having to interfere. Kilmalkedar's Ailín Callaghan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Kilmalkedar from getting a goal against them. Mardyke's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
