Bard Colwell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bebhinn Moran. 0-1. If Caoilte Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caoilte Molloy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brennen Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Aaron Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Rorke Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kilmacow players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drumbeg AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caoilte Molloy to make the kick off. Fionn Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fionn Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 76 minutes of play Kilmacow's Rorke Ghee was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Kilmacow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorke Ghee to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Aaron Hutton in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bebhinn Moran's left hand side. After 83 played minutes Kilmacow got a freekick which was hit by Robin McCollion. Breffni Willson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Breslin McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Drumbeg AFC's Brannon Keegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fionn Dimson in the 96th minute of play. Drumbeg AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
