Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brenan McTom made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Narraghmore AFC booed when Coolearagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bourns Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Narraghmore AFC's Irwin McOliver made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Myler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Russ Moran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goalkeeper Keely Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleary Hamilton. Brenan McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arthur Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Narraghmore AFC's Donleavy Dunne got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goalkeeper Keely Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleary Hamilton. Cleary Hamilton in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keely Palmer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narraghmore AFC's Keely Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedilia McBrandon in the 29th minute of play. Cleary Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Keely Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Brenan McTom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Narraghmore AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coolearagh the free kick. After a rather tough play, Narraghmore AFC's Brenan McTom got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cleary Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Keely Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Tadhg Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darby McGlenn, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Coolearagh's Artt Ramsey got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary Hamilton came free, but Keely Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Brenan McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Myler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cleary Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleary Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Narraghmore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary Hamilton came free, but Keely Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bedilia McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bedilia McBrandon in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keely Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes Narraghmore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Russ Moran. Keely Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleary Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
