In the 16th match minute, Cloghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradon Cronin to maneuver through the defense. Blathma Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donn Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Brennan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jarlath Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aban Ramsey in the 38th minute of play forced Meenachallow AFC's goalkeeper Jarlath Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Cloghan's Devlin Colwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aban Ramsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Donn Benson made a precise shot to the right of Blathma Bayes. Cloghan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Caoilte Gough hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Devlin Colwell hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Kevinn Frankson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jarlath Sheridan made a huge save. Rourke Crowe's late challenge caught a Cloghan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rourke Crowe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Meenachallow AFC's Rourke Crowe got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jarlath Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devlin Colwell in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rownun Ghee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blathma Bayes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Bradon Cronin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th match minute, Cloghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradon Cronin to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Caoilte Gough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Devlin Colwell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarlath Sheridan. The goal made the score 1-3. When the match was over Cloghan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meenachallow AFC throughout the match.
