Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brenda Bayes got the match started through his kick off. Barney Doyles short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Blian McGlynn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Catstown's Briain Morrison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blian McGlynn. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. With a little luck, Teeromoyle's Blian McGlynn got control of the ball when Barney Doyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bardan McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenda Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Briain Morrison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blian McGlynn having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Teeromoyle's goalkeeper Blian McGlynn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry McBrand. The crowd rose to their feet as Henry McBrand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blian McGlynn. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fionntán McPhilip in the 20th minute of play forced Teeromoyle's goalkeeper Blian McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Briain Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barney Doyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Briain Morrison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blian McGlynn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Briain Morrison notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Teeromoyle's Blian McGlynn. Blian McGlynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teeromoyle's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Briain Morrison 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barney Doyle was the one to do the kick off. Blian McGlynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Briain Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute, Brendanus Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Briain Morrison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Blian McGlynn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Henry McBrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blian McGlynn. Teeromoyle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry McBrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 66th minute, Briain Morrison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blian McGlynn was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Doyle in the 70th minute of play forced Teeromoyle's goalkeeper Blian McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Briain Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blian McGlynn having to interfere. Barney Doyle scored 11-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blian McGlynn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendanus Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Henry McBrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute of the match Barney Doyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blian McGlynn skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry McBrand in the 94th minute of play forced Teeromoyle's goalkeeper Blian McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Barney Doyle notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Teeromoyle's Blian McGlynn. Blian McGlynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Catstown walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
