Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon McGlenn in the 3rd minute of play forced Cloghan's goalkeeper Blathma Bayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cloghan's Blathma Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey McGlynn in the 4th minute of play. Emmet Palmer made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Henry Brennan sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 9 minutes, Harvey McGlynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballymagan Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harvey McGlynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Brennans short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Emmet Palmer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aban Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emmet Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmet Palmer stood somewhat misplaced when Henry Brennan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. In the 27th minute Harvey McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathma Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Cloghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevinn Frankson to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Henry Brennan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloghan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Aban Ramsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Emmet Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 played minutes Aban Ramsey rounded Ballymagan Utd's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harvey McGlynn was the one to do the kick off. If Aban Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Brennan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aban Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloghan's supporters rose to their feet, but Aban Ramsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmet Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfred Hunt's late challenge caught a Ballymagan Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Hunt helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Ballymagan Utd a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berchan McNamara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cloghan's Blathma Bayes. 4-1. 72 minutes into the match, Aban Ramsey notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ballymagan Utd's Emmet Palmer. Emmet Palmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aban Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Ballymagan Utd's Harvey McGlynn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blathma Bayes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Aban Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emmet Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee Glen Crowe charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Glen Crowe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lee Glen Crowe hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes, Cloghan's Gilian McFrancise shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emmet Palmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cloghan reached it. Henry Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Emmet Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Ballymagan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bealtaine Byrne. There was no doubt that Cloghan were the better team. Cloghan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
