Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barney Doyle started the match with the kick off. Blathma Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Bardan McMichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlin Colwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Catstown getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dane Matthews hit a great ball. Catstown's Barney Doyle got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Catstown booed when Cloghan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devlin Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Henry McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathma Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blathma Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fionntán McPhilip in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Cloghan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Devlin Colwell hit a great ball. Blathma Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry McBrand in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Henry McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catstown's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry McBrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blathma Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Henry McBrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blathma Bayes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Briain Morrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradon Cronin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Blathma Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barney Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathma Bayes having to interfere. Henry McBrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blathma Bayes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry McBrand ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 minutes, Briain Morrison made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Cloghan's Blathma Bayes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aban Ramsey made the kick off in the second half. Blathma Bayes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Briain Morrison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. Catstown's Bardan McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aban Ramsey in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Henry McBrand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catstown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Bardan McMichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Fionntán McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathma Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Fionntán McPhilip made a precise shot to the right of Blathma Bayes. Cloghan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Briain Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathma Bayes having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Cloghan's goalkeeper Blathma Bayes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fionntán McPhilip. 76 minutes into the match, Barney Doyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blathma Bayes. Cloghan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barney Doyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Blathma Bayes made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dane Matthews sent off a good shot on target. Fionntán McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathma Bayes having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Barney Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathma Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Briain Morrison dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blathma Bayes, 0-9. 96 minutes in the game, Briain Morrison fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Blathma Bayes having to interfere. Catstown played a much better game than Cloghan and deserved their victory. The Cloghan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
