Rian McPhil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fionntán McBjarton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Reilley Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torrey McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aengus Keegan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Baiste Prunty skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Ballymullen FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Brasil Myler hit a great ball. Fionntán McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reilley Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aengus Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tullykinroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Keegan couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Torrey McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiste Prunty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torrey McSteven struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Baiste Prunty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tullykinroe. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breasal Savic during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Breasal Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Aengus Keegan struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Baiste Prunty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tullykinroe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aengus Keegan got free with Baiste Prunty in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Torrey McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reilley Ryan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Breasal Savic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fionntán McBjarton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 59th minute, Aengus Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kennedy McOliver fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballymullen FC's protests and gave Kennedy McOliver a yellow card for diving instead. Kennedy McOliver hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Tullykinroe's Torrey McSteven sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baiste Prunty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fionntán McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reilley Ryan in the 66th minute of the match. Ron McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Tullykinroe getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Breasal Savic hit a great ball. Reilley Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fionntán McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bray Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torrey McSteven in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baiste Prunty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Torrey McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiste Prunty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rian McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Tullykinroe's goal looked a bit too open when Reilley Ryan came free, but Fionntán McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
