Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver McAaron got free with Farrell Hunt in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patty McLaughlin's late challenge caught a Corrigeenroe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patty McLaughlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Ballinteskin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patty McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilian Frankson in the 10th minute of play forced Ballinteskin's goalkeeper Farrell Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Bhrighde Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballinteskin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corrigeenroe the free kick. Bhrighde Sheridan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Corrigeenroe's Brady Horgan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Farrell Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Horgan in the 14th minute of the match. Donleavy McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breccan Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel McDecland charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel McDecland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Corrigeenroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel McDecland to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Breccan Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballinteskin's supporters rose to their feet, but Breccan Sheridan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donleavy McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breccan Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Logan Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donleavy McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Gilian Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Corrigeenroe's Bran McPhilip got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Breccan Sheridan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Breccan Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brady Horgan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farrell Hunt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Logan Kirby who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Donleavy McCready when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Breccan Sheridan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Logan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farrell Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brady Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Farrell Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Horgan in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Corrigeenroe's Daniel McDecland got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Raonall McPhil managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Corrigeenroe's zone, Logan Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donleavy McCready came out of the goal and Logan Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Ballinteskin got a freekick which was hit by Breslin McBjarton. Bhrighde Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Finbar McJohn hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Corrigeenroe got a freekick which was hit by Bran McPhilip. The Corrigeenroe players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
