Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Peyton McAlphie made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Kiltartan getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Barrie McAlphie hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kiltartan's Alfred McVictor got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Peyton McAlphie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beale McStephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Beale McStephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tierney Myler in the 9th minute of play. Barrie McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bean Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred McVictor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alfred McVictor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bean Horgan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Alfred McVictor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hilltown's Bean Horgan. Bean Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Alfred McVictor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bean Horgan, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred McVictor in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bean Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beale McStephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donelle Scully in the 26th minute of play. If Alfred McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beale McStephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Baydan McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donelle Scully hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Caimin Barrett charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caimin Barrett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Caimin Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bean Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barrie McAlphie went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred McVictor made a kick off. The supporters of Hilltown booed when Kiltartan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derrick Delaney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Beale McStephen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Hilltown's zone, Alfred McVictor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bean Horgan came out of the goal and Alfred McVictor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Barrie McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bean Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donelle Scully in the 75th minute of play forced Kiltartan's goalkeeper Beale McStephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bean Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beale McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derrick Delaney in the 81st minute of the match. Barrie McAlphie took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bean Horgan. Bean Horgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 93 minutes, Donelle Scully mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilltown and the Kiltartan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Hilltown got a freekick which was hit by Donelle Scully. When the referee ended the match the Kiltartan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
