Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eoghan McJames started the match with the kick off. Berk McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradagain Costello in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Briony McPaul shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berk McCready showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eoghan McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berk McCready having to interfere. If Bradagain Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Baoithin Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frankford's Berach McGlynn couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carrig Utd. After a defensive mix-up in Carrig Utd's zone, Eoghan McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berk McCready came out of the goal and Eoghan McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Britt Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Britt Kirby got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th match minute, Carrig Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Britt Kirby to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Carrig Utd defense, Bradagain Costello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berk McCready. The Carrig Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berk McCready should have stopped the shot. After the first half Frankford were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Britt Kirby to make the kick off. Carrig Utd's Berk McCready proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Carrig Utd from getting a goal against them. Bradagain Costello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Berk McCready skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bradagain Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradagain Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berk McCready having to interfere. Brefni Silke took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cianán Jameson. Cianán Jameson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Berk McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eoghan McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Brefni Silke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cianán Jameson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Britt Kirby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrig Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Bradagain Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frankford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradagain Costello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eoghan McJames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berk McCready was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Frankford failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
