Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Breccan Sheridan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Belleek FC's Brogan Crowe got a free kick in the 7th minute. Breccan Sheridan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Breccan Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Patty McLaughlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballinteskin and the Belleek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patty McLaughlin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Basil McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Austin Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farrell Hunt having to interfere. Belleek FC's attentive Teddy Hughes managed to snatch the ball when Breslin McBjarton made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Austin Martyn struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Farrell Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belleek FC. After a defensive mix-up in Ballinteskin's zone, Brogan Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farrell Hunt came out of the goal and Brogan Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Hughes in the 34th minute of play forced Ballinteskin's goalkeeper Farrell Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Brogan Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brogan Crowe in the 35th minute of play forced Ballinteskin's goalkeeper Farrell Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basil McGlynn's late challenge caught a Ballinteskin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basil McGlynn helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Belleek FC got a freekick which was hit by Basil McGlynn. After 41 minutes, Austin Martyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belleek FC and the Ballinteskin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Austin Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute Brogan Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 60th minute of the match Bairre John shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flann Ghee showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballinteskin's zone, Brogan Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farrell Hunt came out of the goal and Brogan Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Logan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Logan Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Flann Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Ballinteskin's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Hughes came free, but Farrell Hunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Belleek FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ballinteskin side.
