In the 8th match minute, Ardattin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patton Frankson to maneuver through the defense. Logan Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Barry Dalton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Bressal McLaughlin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Farrell Hunt. The goal made the score 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Ballinteskin's goal looked a bit too open when Bressal McLaughlin came free, but Farrell Hunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raonall McPhil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Raonall McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Farrell Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beiti McGlenn, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egan Todd got free with Farrell Hunt in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ardattin's Geralt Dunne got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Logan Kirby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ballinteskin's Farrell Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geralt Dunne in the 51st minute of play. Farrell Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biddy McAlphie in the 53rd minute of the match. Ballinteskin's Farrell Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biddy McAlphie in the 56th minute of play. Farrell Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biddy McAlphie in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ballinteskin defense, Geralt Dunne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farrell Hunt. The Ballinteskin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farrell Hunt should have stopped the shot. Egan Todd scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farrell Hunt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Logan Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Barry Dalton. Ardattin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 72 minutes into the match, Payton Dempsey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barry Dalton, 3-2. After 75 played minutes Ballinteskin got a freekick which was hit by Logan Kirby. In the 78th minute, Payton Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Egan Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bressal McLaughlin in the 83rd minute of play forced Ballinteskin's goalkeeper Farrell Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Dalton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Logan Kirby in the 85th minute. If Egan Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ardattin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
