Bean Horgan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bryan McGlenn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bryan McGlenn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bean Horgan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Hilltown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peyton McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tipper McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peyton McAlphie in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Branson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryan McGlenn to strike the kick off in the second half. When Peyton McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Hilltown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyton McAlphie couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Inniskeen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tipper McStephen . Derrick Delaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Branson having to interfere. When Peyton McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hilltown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyton McAlphie couldn't finish the play. Peyton McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inniskeen AFC's Philip Branson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyton McAlphie in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Inniskeen AFC's Blathma Dillon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bearnad Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Derrick Delaney struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Philip Branson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hilltown. Hilltown's Bannon McCready couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Inniskeen AFC. Bannon McCready, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Inniskeen AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
