With a little luck, Corrigeenroe's Donleavy McCready got control of the ball when Alfred McVictor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Corrigeenroe's zone, Brefni Dalton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donleavy McCready came out of the goal and Brefni Dalton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Kiltartan's goal looked a bit too open when Brady Horgan came free, but Beale McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Barrie McAlphie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiltartan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corrigeenroe the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Kiltartan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie McAlphie to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred McVictor got free with Donleavy McCready in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26thth minute of the game Aaron McWill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiltartan's Beale McStephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breck McVictor in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donleavy McCready prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brefni Dalton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Breck McVictor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donleavy McCready having to make a save. Donleavy McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barrie McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiltartan's Barrie McAlphie got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Corrigeenroe's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred McVictor came free, but Donleavy McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel McDecland during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brady Horgan to make the kick off. Barrie McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Donleavy McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron McWill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Beale McStephen made a huge save. Kiltartan's Alfred McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Corrigeenroe's goal looked a bit too open when Breanne McWillie came free, but Donleavy McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfred McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Corrigeenroe getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gilian Frankson hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Alfred McVictor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donleavy McCready. Corrigeenroe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred McVictor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 86 played minutes Corrigeenroe got a freekick which was hit by Conor Callaghan. Barrie McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play, Corrigeenroe's Oliver McAaron made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beale McStephen was left in no man's land by his defense there!
