Austin Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bean Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derrick Delaney got free with Flann Ghee in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Austin Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Belleek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyle Johnson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Derrick Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilltown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derrick Delaney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flann Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derrick Delaney in the 20th minute of the match. Peyton McAlphie struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Flann Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hilltown. The supporters of Hilltown booed when Belleek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyle Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derrick Delaney. Flann Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyton McAlphie in the 26th minute of the match. Flann Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyton McAlphie in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Boyle Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belleek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilltown the free kick. The supporters of Hilltown booed when Belleek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyle Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peyton McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Flann Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flannery McOliver's late challenge caught a Hilltown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flannery McOliver helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belleek FC! The referee gave Hilltown a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bannon McCready, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Belleek FC's Flann Ghee. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brogan Crowe to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hilltown getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Donelle Scully hit a great ball. Flann Ghee came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Hilltown's Peyton McAlphie. But to his dismay, Peyton McAlphie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Peyton McAlphie notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Belleek FC's Flann Ghee. Flann Ghee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bean Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Hughes in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Hilltown booed when Belleek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branigan Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyton McAlphie in the 91st minute of play forced Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austin Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Horgan having to interfere. Hilltown's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
