Castlecarra Utd's Donlan Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braoin Holt in the 31st minute of play. Donlan Gallagher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braoin Holt's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, one of Cooraclare:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The wind increased when Lee Harkin made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cooraclare defense, Beale MaCollin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bray McNamee. The Cooraclare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bray McNamee should have stopped the shot. If Braoin Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Castlecarra Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lee Harkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cooraclare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
