But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turlough Ghee couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Terrence Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rahans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Beatty McPeter collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 85 minutes into the game, Royan McCready was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rahans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bellavary the free kick. Royan McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Turlough Ghee's late challenge caught a Bellavary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Turlough Ghee helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Rahans got a freekick which was hit by Turlough Ghee.
