Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Braoin Holt kicked off to start the match. Fergal Crowe had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Bairne McBrand's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fergal Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braoin Holt in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergal Crowe saved Inches from getting behind. The Inches players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cooraclare were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedict McJohn to make the kick off. With his leg Fergal Crowe managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Cooraclare's Braoin Holt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th minute, Braoin Holt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braoin Holt in the 84th minute of play forced Inches's goalkeeper Fergal Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
