The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Labbasheeda defense, Bel Cassin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blamhac Johnson. The Labbasheeda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blamhac Johnson should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Rowland McIan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blamhac Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blamhac Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowland McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Buach Benson. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bel Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scronagare's supporters rose to their feet, but Bel Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blamhac Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Labbasheeda booed when Scronagare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradon Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bel Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Blamhac Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blamhac Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowland McIan in the 38th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rowland McIan was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Reagan Hunt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baydan McBrandon was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rowland McIan in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blamhac Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blamhac Johnson was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Rowland McIan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rowland McIan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 72 played minutes Labbasheeda got a freekick which was hit by Finn McPaul. With his leg Blamhac Johnson managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Scronagare's Bel Cassin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baydan McBrandon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reagan Hunt went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Reagan Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Scronagare's zone, Reagan Hunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baydan McBrandon came out of the goal and Reagan Hunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Labbasheeda's Blamhac Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Labbasheeda from getting a goal against them. Blamhac Johnson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bel Cassin sent off a good shot on target. Blamhac Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rowland McIan's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Rowland McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Scronagare supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scronagare would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
