Brenan Gillmour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fintan McFrancise during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fintan McFrancise hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Attiregan's goalkeeper Teigue Mulvihill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rylie Johnson. If Rylie Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Attiregan's Teddy McCollion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brenan Gillmour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Clooncan's zone, Teddy McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brenan Gillmour came out of the goal and Teddy McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Clooncan's Teigue Costello got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Rylie Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brenan Gillmour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy McCollion in the 30th minute of play. Attiregan's Rannal McTommy got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyle McLiam lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clooncan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! If Rannal McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teigue Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Attiregan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rylie Johnson to strike the kick off in the second half. Clooncan's Brenan Gillmour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rannal McTommy in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rannal McTommy in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brenan Gillmour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Clooncan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teigue Costello to maneuver through the defense. Teigue Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rylie Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rylie Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rylie Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Teigue Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bairne McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reagan Johnson's late challenge caught a Clooncan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reagan Johnson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clooncan booed when Attiregan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reagan Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rylie Johnson in the 69th minute of play forced Attiregan's goalkeeper Teigue Mulvihill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teigue Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teigue Mulvihill having to interfere. If Rannal McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Clooncan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beccan Myler to maneuver through the defense. Teddy McCollion struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Brenan Gillmour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attiregan. Rylie Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teigue Mulvihill having to interfere. The supporters of Clooncan booed when Attiregan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braden Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Keely Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rylie Johnson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teigue Mulvihill having to make a save. 86 minutes in the game, Rannal McTommy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brenan Gillmour having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Clooncan's goalkeeper Brenan Gillmour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teddy McCollion. After having played for 92 minutes, Teddy McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attiregan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy McCollion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clooncan's goalkeeper Brenan Gillmour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teddy McCollion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Brenan Gillmour made a huge save. After 96 minutes, Beccan Myler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clooncan and the Attiregan players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rannal McTommy in the 97th minute of play forced Clooncan's goalkeeper Brenan Gillmour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Attiregan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
