Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cleary McWilliam made the kick off which started today's match. Kaine Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Boethis Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Tate McOliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corlisheen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Donavin Tracy fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corlisheen's protests and gave Donavin Tracy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Donavin Tracy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don McDecland in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bressail McDonald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Don McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Don McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bressail McDonald came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Nutgrove AFC's Don McDecland. But to his dismay, Don McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cleary McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McDonald having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play Corlisheen's Donavin Tracy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th minute, Donavin Tracy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleary McWilliam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bressail McDonald having to make a save.

The wind increased when Tate McOliver made the kick off in the second half. Bressail McDonald was a little too slow when Cleary McWilliam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daithi Gollogley during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleary McWilliam struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bressail McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nutgrove AFC. Bressail McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Nutgrove AFC got a corner. Corlisheen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul McPeter ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Paul McPeter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corlisheen's Bressail McDonald did a great save. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cleary McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corlisheen's Bressail McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleary McWilliam in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bressail McDonald saved Corlisheen from getting behind. If Cleary McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Don McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bressail McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Corlisheen's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary McWilliam came free, but Bressail McDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tate McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Corlisheen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daithi Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Corlisheen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ravan McJohn to maneuver through the defense. Bressail McDonald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don McDecland in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Corlisheen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleary McWilliam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don McDecland got free with Bressail McDonald in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Corlisheen's Kaine Kelly got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Bressail McDonald made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Don McDecland sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Don McDecland notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Corlisheen's Bressail McDonald. Bressail McDonald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Nutgrove AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
