Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rannal McTommy took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Attiregan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Byrne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Cleary McWilliam lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Teigue Mulvihill. If Cleary McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Cleary McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teigue Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Nutgrove AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bracken McWill. After a rather tough play, Nutgrove AFC's Rowley McDonald got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rannal McTommy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Attiregan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brakawn Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Attiregan's Teigue Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bracken McWill in the 36th minute of play. Don McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teigue Mulvihill having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Keely Bayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Attiregan and the Nutgrove AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Attiregan getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Keely Bayes hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, one of Nutgrove AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The wind increased when Cleary McWilliam made the kick off in the second half. Rannal McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Boethis Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nutgrove AFC's Boethis Doyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Nutgrove AFC from getting a goal against them. Teigue Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Gill Lavine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attiregan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nutgrove AFC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Attiregan got a freekick which was hit by Gill Lavine. In the 65th minute, Don McDecland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Teddy McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Attiregan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy McCollion couldn't finish the play. Boethis Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rannal McTommy in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Attiregan booed when Nutgrove AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowley McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teigue Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Teigue Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 84th minute of the match. Nutgrove AFC's Boethis Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braden Quinnless in the 92nd minute of play. Teigue Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute Cleary McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teigue Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
