Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Don McDecland took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes, Nutgrove AFC's Rollan Todd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donavan Frankson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nutgrove AFC reached it. Boethis Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Branson in the 6th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Irving Branson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Bras McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nutgrove AFC's goalkeeper Boethis Doyle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Killycross booed when Nutgrove AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samueil Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Irving Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bras McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Irving Branson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boethis Doyle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Donavan Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Nutgrove AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rollan Todd. Nutgrove AFC's Boethis Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayes McVictor in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Killycross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beagan Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donavan Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. From close distance Berrigan Murphy pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 47 minutes into the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irving Branson made a kick off. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Killycross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beagan Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Killycross got a freekick which was hit by Harley Frankson. 56 minutes into the match, Nutgrove AFC's Paul McPeter broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irving Branson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boethis Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nutgrove AFC's zone, Irving Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boethis Doyle came out of the goal and Irving Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harley Frankson charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harley Frankson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Killycross got a freekick which was hit by Harley Frankson. Donavan Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don McDecland in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nutgrove AFC's zone, Bras McDonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boethis Doyle came out of the goal and Bras McDonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boethis Doyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irving Branson's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Bras McDonalds short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Boethis Doyle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Killycross's Harley Frankson got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Harley Frankson off the ground. After 90 played minutes Killycross got a freekick which was hit by Harley Frankson. Nutgrove AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
