Rorry Mulvihill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bivadi Robinson's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Rorry Mulvihill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bivadi Robinson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Oldchapel's Bivadi Robinson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rorry Mulvihill. That made the score 2-1 after 17 minutes of play. Bren Quinnless struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rorry Mulvihill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldchapel. The supporters of Oldchapel booed when Strand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donlan Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Oldchapel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bren Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. Oldchapel were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Strand's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brak Dillon took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver McBrand in the 39th minute of play forced Oldchapel's goalkeeper Conor Beckett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rorry Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivadi Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Reamann Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bivadi Robinson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brak Dillon, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Randal Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bivadi Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rorry Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Strand's zone, Bren Quinnless stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rorry Mulvihill came out of the goal and Bren Quinnless tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strand's goalkeeper Rorry Mulvihill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bivadi Robinson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rorry Mulvihill was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Oldchapel's zone, Oliver McBrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conor Beckett came out of the goal and Oliver McBrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nollaig McBrand struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Conor Beckett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strand. After 70 played minutes Oldchapel got a freekick which was hit by Reamann Coyle. When Bren Quinnless came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Oldchapel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bren Quinnless couldn't finish the play. Bivadi Robinson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rorry Mulvihill. Rorry Mulvihill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Nollaig McBrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Beckett having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Strand's zone, Bivadi Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rorry Mulvihill came out of the goal and Bivadi Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bivadi Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rorry Mulvihill having to interfere. In the 88th minute Bivadi Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rorry Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Oldchapel's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver McBrand came free, but Conor Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oliver McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oldchapel's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
