Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clontoe's Bar Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Clontoe's Bradley Callaghan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bradley Callaghan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clontoe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bradley Callaghan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bow McPhil went to the wrong direction when Ryley McAlphie was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Berrin Dimson might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bressail McDonald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berrin Dimson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Barney Martyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Tate McOliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Tate McOliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clontoe's Bow McPhil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Clontoe's goal looked a bit too open when Tate McOliver came free, but Bow McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes, Corlisheen's Ryley McAlphie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bow McPhil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corlisheen reached it. In the 29th minute, Berrin Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bow McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tate McOliver in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Kaine Kelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bow McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaine Kelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bressail McDonald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berrin Dimson went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Tate McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Barney Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bressail McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan McFrank in the 88th minute of the match. If Alan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Clontoe's Barney Martyn got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corlisheen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clontoe.
