In the 6th match minute, Oldchapel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darrick McFrancise to maneuver through the defense. Cleary McWilliam struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Conor Beckett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nutgrove AFC. Conor Beckett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleary McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Boethis Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reamann Coyle in the 12th minute. When Bren Quinnless came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Oldchapel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bren Quinnless couldn't finish the play. Bivadi Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Doyle having to interfere. A collision led to Nutgrove AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bow Grant hit a great ball. Brak Dillon's shot from long distance in the 28th minute was not bad at all, but Nutgrove AFC's Boethis Doyle knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Boethis Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bren Quinnless in the 30th minute. Cleary McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Beckett having to interfere. Bren Quinnless's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Boethis Doyle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute, Nutgrove AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bivadi Robinson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Oldchapel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nutgrove AFC's Paul McPeter got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bivadi Robinson in the 42nd minute of play forced Nutgrove AFC's goalkeeper Boethis Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Nutgrove AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleary McWilliam made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cleary McWilliam took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Conor Beckett to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Don McDecland fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Conor Beckett, passed just outside the right post. Conor Beckett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 69th minute of the match. Boethis Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivadi Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Joshua Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artt Silke hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Nutgrove AFC's Paul McPeter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Conor Beckett but with some difficulty. If Bren Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Don McDecland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Conor Beckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Nutgrove AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bren Quinnless came free, but Boethis Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Oldchapel's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary McWilliam came free, but Conor Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
