Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Irving Branson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bras McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Irving Branson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rorry Mulvihill. Strand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irving Branson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 played minutes Strand got a freekick which was hit by Donlan Jameson. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Donlan Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strand's supporters rose to their feet, but Donlan Jameson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donavan Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donavan Frankson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver McBrand's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Irving Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rorry Mulvihill having to interfere. Rorry Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Branson in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bras McDonald in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rorry Mulvihill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Irving Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Killycross's goalkeeper Donavan Frankson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donlan Jameson.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver McBrand made a kick off. Donlan Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Killycross's Hayes McVictor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nollaig McBrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan Frankson having to interfere. With a little luck, Strand's Rorry Mulvihill got control of the ball when Bras McDonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Killycross's Bras McDonald got a free kick in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Killycross walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
