Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shannon Dalton made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Edwin Murphy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blaire McWill was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Doonmanagh's Blaire McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shannon Dalton in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lagacurry's Bearnad Myler got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin Murphy in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaire McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Buach Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batt Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Doonmanagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevin Todd to maneuver through the defense. Buach Palmer made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ryan Delaney sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Doonmanagh's Braydon McLaughlin got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Shannon Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Lagacurry's goal looked a bit too open when Tevin Todd came free, but Buach Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Doonmanagh got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Delaney. With a little luck, Lagacurry's Buach Palmer got control of the ball when Braydon McLaughlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buach Palmer was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Batt Dempsey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Batt Dempsey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Blaire McWill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Murphy in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batt Dempsey was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ryan Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buach Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batt Dempsey's late challenge caught a Lagacurry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batt Dempsey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Doonmanagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batt Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Desmond McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagacurry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desmond McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Lagacurry's goal looked a bit too open when Tevin Todd came free, but Buach Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buach Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Buach Palmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Delaney went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd match minute, Lagacurry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duff MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Doonmanagh's Braydon McLaughlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buach Palmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edwin Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagacurry's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaire McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tevin Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Duff MaCollin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bercan Tracy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Buach Palmer. Lagacurry's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duff MaCollin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Doonmanagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batt Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Delaney scored 4-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buach Palmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Doonmanagh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lagacurry had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
