Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Denny Morrison got the match started through his kick off. Blar Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Aaron Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Colwell having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Beaumont FC's Thurl Lavine broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot by Rordan Taylor from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Barrie McGlynn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 22nd minute, Reamann McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrie McGlynn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Brenan Mullan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Morrison in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Colwell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cacey McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denny Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballyleen's goalkeeper Isaac Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Beaumont FC's zone, Cacey McBrandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrie McGlynn came out of the goal and Cacey McBrandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacey McBrandon made a kick off. Denny Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Denny Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballyleen's Bard Tracy got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Morrison in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Denny Morrison struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Isaac Colwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaumont FC. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beaumont FC's goalkeeper Barrie McGlynn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cacey McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beag McLaughlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Barrie McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Barde McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaumont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Barde McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Colwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blar Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballyleen's Isaac Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Morrison in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Beaumont FC booed when Ballyleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harley McJohnny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Morrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Denny Morrison fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isaac Colwell, passed just outside the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Barde McMichel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isaac Colwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barde McMichels short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Isaac Colwell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Denny Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barde McMichel struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Isaac Colwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaumont FC. Beaumont FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
