Keefe Colwell came out of the goal and Braeden Frankson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braeden Frankson in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keefe Colwell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Kain Cronin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jackkey Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kain Cronin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keefe Colwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kain Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keefe Colwell made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Braeden Frankson sent off a good shot on target. Kain Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Colwell having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braeden Frankson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Colwell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Grant's late challenge caught a Knocknahoran Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Grant helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jackkey Utd's Isaac Grant got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Breed McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breed McWilliam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierson Holt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bat Horgan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Bat Horgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jackkey Utd's Pierson Holt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Kain Cronin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kain Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bardain McPhil's late challenge caught a Jackkey Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the Knocknahoran Utd and the Jackkey Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bec Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Jackkey Utd getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Giles Glen Crowe hit a great ball. During the 78th minute of the match Bec Dillon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bec Dillon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bec Dillon hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Keefe Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braeden Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kain Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Colwell having to interfere. Knocknahoran Utd's Keefe Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braeden Frankson in the 92nd minute of play. Keefe Colwell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braeden Frankson's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
