Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Cleary Cooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rampart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clonbulloge AFC the free kick. The supporters of Clonbulloge AFC booed when Rampart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleary Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Grant in the 8th minute of play forced Rampart's goalkeeper Breannain Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Healy Rutherford was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Cleary Cooney capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cleary Cooney really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Thom Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cleary Duggan fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rampart's protests and gave Cleary Duggan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rampart getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cleary Duggan hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Donell Colwell notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rampart's Breannain Crowe. Breannain Crowe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Cleary Cooney reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Healy Rutherford. The goal made the score 2-1. Donell Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Breannain Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleary Cooney in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Healy Rutherford saved Clonbulloge AFC from getting behind. Cleary Cooney succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 47th minute, Rampart's Cleary Cooney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Healy Rutherford. Healy Rutherford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thom Grant to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cleary Cooney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Cleary Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Healy Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleary Cooney in the 57th minute of play forced Clonbulloge AFC's goalkeeper Healy Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleary Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Healy Rutherford having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rampart's zone, Thom Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breannain Crowe came out of the goal and Thom Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleary Cooney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Healy Rutherford having to make a save. Donell Colwell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Breannain Crowe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bairre Palmer's late challenge caught a Clonbulloge AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairre Palmer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Bairre Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thom Grant in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breannain Crowe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breannain Crowe made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Donell Colwell sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Thom Grant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rampart getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cleary Duggan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clonbulloge AFC's Kaine Gough got a free kick in the 96th minute. Rampart's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
