After 3 played minutes Rampart got a freekick which was hit by Bairre Palmer. If Banban Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. Killeagh's Benedict Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleary Cooney in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cleary Duggan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rampart's Breannain Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banban Hamilton in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rampart's Colmcille Sheridan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Colmcille Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Perth having to interfere. Colmcille Sheridan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Benedict Perth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rampart. After 39 played minutes Killeagh got a freekick which was hit by Bret Bayes. Benedict Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary Cooney in the 40th minute of the match. Benedict Perth made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Colmcille Sheridan sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bairre Palmer during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bairre Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleary Cooney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Killeagh's Davie McWill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breannain Crowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benedict Perth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colmcille Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Killeagh's goal looked a bit too open when Colmcille Sheridan came free, but Benedict Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes Killeagh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barclay Crowe who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rampart's corner Barclay Crowe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedict Perth quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Davie McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killeagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davie McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coinneach McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cleary Cooney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleary Cooney in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedict Perth saved Killeagh from getting behind. A collision led to Rampart getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bairre Palmer hit a great ball. Breannain Crowe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Banban Hamilton in the 79th minute. Cleary Cooney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Banban Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killeagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Banban Hamilton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breannain Crowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breannain Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davie McWill in the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lou Colwell during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Rampart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lou Colwell to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
