After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Nollaig McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Binean Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ballyroe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Scott Cassin scored to the left of an out of position Binean Delaney, making the score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Ballyroe defense, Nollaig McGlenn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Binean Delaney. The Ballyroe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Binean Delaney should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Meenaward Utd's Nollaig McGlenn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Binean Delaney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tirloch McOliver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brendon Cassin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, Meenaward Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toran Brennan to maneuver through the defense. Darick John blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tirloch McOliver having to make a save. Meenaward Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
