With a little luck, Jackkey Utd's Pierson Holt got control of the ball when Breaghdha Dempsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paud Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braeden Frankson in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kain Cronin in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paud Todd saved Ballyvaughan AFC from getting behind. Paud Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kain Cronin in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Beckett O'Neill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paud Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braeden Frankson in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Kain Cronin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ballyvaughan AFC's Paud Todd. Paud Todd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Kain Cronin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jackkey Utd's Patty Mulvihill got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Braeden Frankson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jackkey Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theodore Doyle was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Braeden Frankson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jackkey Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Braeden Frankson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Paud Todd made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ballyvaughan AFC's Beckett O'Neill got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Ballyvaughan AFC defense, Braeden Frankson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paud Todd. The Ballyvaughan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paud Todd should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Kain Cronin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ballyvaughan AFC's Paud Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Ballyvaughan AFC from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Isaac Grant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jackkey Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballyvaughan AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jackkey Utd's Isaac Grant got a free kick in the 76th minute. Carrigan Tracy hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Jackkey Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bodibeve Ramsey. The Ballyvaughan AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jackkey Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
