The Killeagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Banban Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killeagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Banban Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davie McWill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keefe Colwell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davie McWill to strike the kick off in the second half. Davie McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Keefe Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Knocknahoran Utd's zone, Bradon McAaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keefe Colwell came out of the goal and Bradon McAaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Knocknahoran Utd's Bardain McPhil got a free kick in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Banban Hamilton notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Knocknahoran Utd's Keefe Colwell. Keefe Colwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gehan Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Benedict Perth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breed McWilliam in the 68th minute. Keefe Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banban Hamilton in the 69th minute of the match. Keefe Colwell came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Killeagh's Davie McWill. But to his dismay, Davie McWill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Bat Horgan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedict Perth having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Knocknahoran Utd's Breed McWilliam got a free kick in the 91st minute. Bardain McPhil struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Benedict Perth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knocknahoran Utd. For all the effort they put into the match, the Knocknahoran Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Killeagh.
