Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thom Grant made the kick off which started today's match. Healy Rutherford came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mulroog's Toran Cassin. But to his dismay, Toran Cassin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Donell Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toran Cassin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Healy Rutherford made a huge save. Mulroog's Blanaid McGlynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donell Colwell in the 23rd minute of play. If Thom Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gil Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Healy Rutherford was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Clonbulloge AFC's Barin Morrison got a free kick in the 28th minute. Clonbulloge AFC's Healy Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Byrne in the 28th minute of play. Toran Cassin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 34th playminute. 37 minutes into the game, Gil Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Healy Rutherford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rourke Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Healy Rutherford having to interfere. The supporters of Mulroog booed when Clonbulloge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barin Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clonbulloge AFC's zone, Toran Cassin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Healy Rutherford came out of the goal and Toran Cassin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Healy Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Byrne in the 49th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Byrne was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Clonbulloge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Byrne came free, but Healy Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaine Gough charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaine Gough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Clonbulloge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaine Gough to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Grant in the 57th minute of play forced Mulroog's goalkeeper Blanaid McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Mulroog got a freekick which was hit by Dawayne Palmer. In the 62nd match minute, Mulroog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keelin Ferguson to maneuver through the defense. Healy Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Byrne in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toran Cassin in the 66th minute of play forced Clonbulloge AFC's goalkeeper Healy Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bola John hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clonbulloge AFC's goalkeeper Healy Rutherford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match Bola John sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blanaid McGlynn skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Clonbulloge AFC defense, Toran Cassin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Healy Rutherford. The Clonbulloge AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Healy Rutherford should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Keelin Ferguson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donell Colwell in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blanaid McGlynn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th match minute, Clonbulloge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barin Morrison to maneuver through the defense. Blanaid McGlynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thom Grant in the 93rd minute of the match. Blanaid McGlynn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donell Colwell in the 95th minute. Rourke Deans hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mulroog fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clonbulloge AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
