Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gil Byrne kicked off to start the match. Banban Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Blanaid McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Killeagh's Benedict Perth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Killeagh from getting a goal against them. Toran Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Perth having to interfere. Gil Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Perth having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rourke Deans during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rourke Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Killeagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gehan Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Benedict Perth made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Toran Cassin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davie McWill in the 27th minute of play forced Mulroog's goalkeeper Blanaid McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Davie McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blanaid McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 50th minute of the match Killeagh got a corner. Mulroog's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ryland Savic ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Davie McWill made the kick off in the second half. Davie McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanaid McGlynn having to interfere. A collision led to Mulroog getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rourke Deans hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Rourke Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mulroog's zone, Banban Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blanaid McGlynn came out of the goal and Banban Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blanaid McGlynn was a little too slow when Banban Hamilton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Blanaid McGlynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davie McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mulroog's Keelin Ferguson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Davie McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killeagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Davie McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blanaid McGlynn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Banban Hamilton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blanaid McGlynn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Rourke Deans was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Mulroog getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rourke Deans hit a great ball. Toran Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 minutes of play, Mulroog's Toran Cassin made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedict Perth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Suibhne Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ricard Kelly, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Killeagh players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
