Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reilly Costello made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Raymun Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brite Quinnless was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Brendon McLiam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brite Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendon McLiam in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brite Quinnless saved Lelagh from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Reilly Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Brendon McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortnasate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon McLiam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Gortnasate's goal looked a bit too open when Brogan Deans came free, but Bradagain Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradagain Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brogan Deans in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Brendon McLiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brite Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon McLiam in the 32nd minute of play forced Lelagh's goalkeeper Brite Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Raymun Taylor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brite Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Brendon McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Quinnless having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymun Taylor made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Brendon McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortnasate's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon McLiam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brite Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brite Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Silke in the 56th minute. Bradagain Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keeghan Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Brendon McLiam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Gortnasate's Raymun Taylor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brite Quinnless. Brite Quinnless yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bradagain Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brogan Deans in the 65th minute of the match. Raymun Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brite Quinnless didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. After having played for 82 minutes, Brendon McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortnasate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon McLiam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Keeghan Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lelagh's Brite Quinnless proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lelagh from getting a goal against them. Gortnasate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
