Bray Myler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Brennan McGlenn made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Harrigan McGlenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Conan McNamee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrandulla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conan McNamee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute of the match Bree Gallagher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tirloch Hamilton skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bray Myler got free with Brennan McGlenn in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Keeghan MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirloch Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conan McNamee in the 20th minute of play forced Ballyfarnan AFC's goalkeeper Tirloch Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Keeghan MaCollin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyfarnan AFC's Tirloch Hamilton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conan McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tirloch Hamilton having to interfere. Tirloch Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keeghan MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Conan McNamee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tirloch Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Corrandulla fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Corrandulla's Keeghan MaCollin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Barnaby McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Brennan McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bray Myler in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Ryley Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes of play Corrandulla's Conan McNamee was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Ballyfarnan AFC booed when Corrandulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conan McNamee didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Keeghan MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Keeghan MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrandulla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keeghan MaCollin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tirloch Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A hard shot 88 in the game by Keeghan MaCollin from a close distance when the talented Tirloch Hamilton managed to make a qualified save. Ballyfarnan AFC's players were relieved. When the match was over Corrandulla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ballyfarnan AFC throughout the match.
