Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damian McOliver took the kick off in the first half of the match. Finian Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Breas Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maryfield FC's Kaine McNamara managed to work through Brackloon's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kaine McNamara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Beag Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaine McNamara in the 7th minute of the match. Breas Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian McOliver in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Artuir Mullan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brackloon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Maryfield FC's zone, Damian McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breas Robinson came out of the goal and Damian McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Kaine McNamara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beag Dempsey. Brackloon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaine McNamara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Beag Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Walker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artuir Mullan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Brackloon's Beag Dempsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brackloon from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Walker in the 30th minute of play forced Brackloon's goalkeeper Beag Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian McOliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breas Robinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Maryfield FC's Breas Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian McOliver in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Brackloon's goalkeeper Beag Dempsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cormac Lester. 36 minutes into the game, Artuir Mullan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Breas Robinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Damian McOliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breas Robinson was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Brackloon were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Maryfield FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finian Keegan took the corner. Brackloon's Finian Keegan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Breas Robinson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute Kaine McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harkin Delaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breas Robinson having to interfere. Maryfield FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Damian McOliver scored to the left of an out of position Breas Robinson, making the score, 1-3. With his leg Breas Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Brackloon's Damian McOliver fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute, Artuir Mullan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brackloon's Artuir Mullan got a free kick in the 79th minute. Beag Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaine McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artuir Mullan was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Artuir Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Brandon Holt fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 88th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Boyne Byrne hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brackloon's Harkin Delaney got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Damian McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackloon's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breas Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beag Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaine McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brackloon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
