Rory Scully took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Bohannon Kelly could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Beag Dempsey however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Gortaheera getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Breccan McNamara hit a great ball. Bohannon Kelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Beag Dempsey made a huge save. The supporters of Brackloon booed when Gortaheera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breccan McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bivitas Moran charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bivitas Moran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bivitas Moran hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Bohannon Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Damian McOliver made the kick off in the second half. Donavan McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Beag Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohannon Kelly in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gortaheera's Boyne McPeter got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gortaheera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Damian McOliver scored to the left of an out of position Rory Scully, making the score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bohannon Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaheera's supporters rose to their feet, but Bohannon Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beag Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bohannon Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Beag Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brackloon's Mack McPaul got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rory Scully was a little too slow when Bivitas Moran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-2. If Damian McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
