Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reilly Costello took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Reilly Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Reilly Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louie Willson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derin McNamara had several of the Lelagh's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Brite Quinnless as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arthur Cooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Brite Quinnless made a huge save. Brite Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Cooney in the 19th minute. If Derin McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Arthur Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brite Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derin McNamara's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Brine Frankson's late challenge caught a Frevanagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brine Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Lelagh got a freekick which was hit by Brine Frankson. Frevanagh Utd's Arthur Cooney managed to work through Lelagh's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Arthur Cooney dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 37th minute, Barra Lester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Frevanagh Utd's Louie Willson didn't even have to move. Reilly Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biviti Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Louie Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louie Willson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biviti Costello's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Derin McNamara made the kick off in the second half. Arthur Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Quinnless having to interfere. Reilly Costello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Louie Willson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Biviti Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brite Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derin McNamara's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Frevanagh Utd's zone, Reilly Costello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Willson came out of the goal and Reilly Costello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Biviti Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Reilly Costello came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lelagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reilly Costello couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Frevanagh Utd's Reamann McCollion got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Biviti Costello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reilly Costello struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Louie Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lelagh. 94 minutes into the match, Lelagh's Reilly Costello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louie Willson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
