Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kaine McNamara made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot 7 in the game by Keeghan MaCollin from a close distance when the talented Breas Robinson managed to make a qualified save. Maryfield FC's players were relieved. Maryfield FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Corrandulla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boyne Byrne took the corner. In the 11th match minute, Maryfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keeghan Dunne to maneuver through the defense. Corrandulla's Keeghan MaCollin got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Maryfield FC's zone, Keeghan MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breas Robinson came out of the goal and Keeghan MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaine McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Keeghan MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Maryfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ultan Morrison to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Keeghan MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corrandulla's supporters rose to their feet, but Keeghan MaCollin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breas Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conan McNamee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maryfield FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Breas Robinson, was totally fooled by Corrandulla's Conan McNamee, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Kaine McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brennan McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaine McNamara in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Corrandulla got a freekick which was hit by Bree Gallagher. After 44 minutes, Keeghan MaCollin made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maryfield FC's Breas Robinson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Keeghan MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Corrandulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bree Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brennen McJohn during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 65th minute of the match Bree Gallagher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bree Gallagher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Maryfield FC booed when Corrandulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bree Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Kaine McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maryfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaine McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Maryfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Healey Grant to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Maryfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conan McNamee came free, but Breas Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Corrandulla's goalkeeper Brennan McGlenn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brennen McJohn. Kaine McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Corrandulla's zone, Rigan Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brennan McGlenn came out of the goal and Rigan Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
